I had been chasing a shot like this for some time and it never quite lined up. I knew I would have to either give up the chances of getting the shot or ask people to move. Another issue I faced was sacrificing my complementary upgrade that I routinely get when flying alone thanks to my Skymiles Medallion status. During one of my work travels in late 2022 the stars aligned and not only did I not get an upgrade but I also had no one in the seats next to me. That led to me finally getting the shot you see here today.
